The Channel Cruise Group manages the port and its three terminals.

Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries, P&O Portsmouth, LD Lines and Wightlink Ferries provide crossings to nine destinations: Cherbourg, St Malo, Le Havre, Caen, Bilbao, Guernsey, Jersey, Ryde and Fishbourne.


Portsmouth to Bilbao


P&O Portsmouth offers a sailing to Bilbao in Spain. There are two weekly sailings to Bilbao with a journey time of approximately 30-35 hours. Bilbao terminal is a busy port in Spain and has good links into the city, a car park and excellent facilities.

Portsmouth to Le Havre


Crossings to Le Havre in France are provided by LD Lines. The crossing time is 5 hours, 30 minutes during the day and 7 hours, 30 minutes at night. The port at Le Havre offers good facilities including a café and a tourist information office.

Portsmouth to Cherbourg


Brittany Ferries makes daily crossings to Cherbourg in France with a journey time of approximately three hours on the express ship. The conventional ferry takes five hours by day or eight hours by night. At the Cherbourg terminal, you will find telephones, a baby changing room, showers, a bar, a bureau de change, a gift shop and a car park.

Portsmouth to St Malo


Brittany Ferries also sails to St Malo in France. This trip takes 9 hours during the day and 12 hours at night. The port at St Malo is one of the most important ports in France and sees about one million passengers a year. It has baby changing facilities, showers, a car park, a newspaper/gift kiosk, a café and a tourist information desk.

Portsmouth to Caen


Brittany Ferries has several daily crossings to Caen in France, taking approximately six hours during the day and eight hours by night. There is also an express ferry that only takes 3 hours, 45 minutes. At the Caen terminal, you will find telephones, a bar and a bureau de change.

Portsmouth to Guernsey


Condor Ferries provides services to St Peter Port in Guernsey running from Mondays to Saturdays and taking 6 hours, 30 minutes. St Peter Port is a small port but has showers, telephones and a car park available for passengers.

Portsmouth to Jersey


Condor Ferries also sails to St Helier in Jersey. This route takes approximately ten hours and runs every day except Sundays. The port at St Helier is a new facility but only offers basic amenities such as telephones, a car park and restrooms.

Portsmouth to Ryde


Wightlink Ferries runs several daily crossings to Ryde on the Isle of Wight with a journey time of just 15 minutes. At Ryde's port, you will find good transportation links and a car park.

Portsmouth to Fishbourne


Wightlink Ferries also runs a route to Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight. These crossings are provided several times a day and take about 35 minutes. Fishbourne is just west of Ryde. It's a small port but does have a car park and good links into nearby towns.
